The Figgers Foundation, in partnership with the Housing Authority of Pompano Beach, proudly presented the Tech Innovation Program — an inspiring hands-on learning initiative aimed at empowering students with essential digital literacy skills and real-world exposure to artificial intelligence.

Held at a community center classroom, the event welcomed a group of enthusiastic young learners eager to explore the possibilities of AI technology. Students were guided through interactive sessions focused on AI prompting — learning how to write commands, understand digital tools, and think critically about how technology is shaping our world.

As part of the initiative, each student received a brand-new tablet, helping bridge the digital divide and providing access to resources that support continued learning beyond the classroom. The energy in the room was contagious, with students fully engaged, asking questions, and gaining confidence in their digital abilities.
