Figgers Foundation to Open New Office in Plantation, Florida, Next Month

Figgers Foundation is opening the doors to its new office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, next month, marking another chapter in its work supporting families and communities.

Join us on November 7, 2026, for the Foundation's Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting. The community event will feature family-friendly activities, refreshments, entertainment, and an opportunity to learn more about the Foundation's programs and services.

Founded in Florida, Figgers Foundation has spent nearly a decade supporting people in need. However, our work extends beyond the state, reaching communities across the United States and internationally, including in Africa and India.

The new office is located at 451 North State Road 7, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33317.

What to Expect at the Figgers Foundation Grand Opening

The new Plantation office will welcome members of the public, including local families, students, community organizations, and public officials. In keeping with our motto, “Rise by Lifting Others,” the event will bring people together to learn more about our work and explore ways to get involved.

Alongside the ribbon-cutting ceremony, attendees can look forward to family activities, entertainment, and opportunities to connect with the Foundation's team.

Refreshments, including water and juice, are planned for the event. Local food vendors will also participate, with a limited number of sponsored meal tickets available for attendees. Those interested in sponsoring meals or refreshments can contact us here.

Children will have activities of their own, including two planned bounce houses for separate age groups: children aged four and under, and those aged five and older. Mascots will also be part of the day's entertainment.

Explore Figgers Foundation's Programs and Community Services

The grand opening will also give visitors a closer look at the programs and services available through Figgers Foundation. Informational displays in program rooms and service areas will explain the Foundation's work and how residents can learn more about available support.

These include initiatives such as the Florida Connect program, through which eligible residents in Florida can receive a free tablet and internet service, subject to program requirements.

Attendees will also be able to take home brochures outlining the Foundation's mission, programs, and contact information. Whether they want to learn more about available services, explore a potential partnership, or find ways to support the Foundation's work, visitors will have an opportunity to discover how they can stay connected beyond the event.

We also encourage attendees to ask questions and speak with our team to learn more about our ongoing work and the communities we serve.

Community members are encouraged to RSVP by October 15, 2026, to help the Foundation plan for attendance and refreshments.

We look forward to welcoming families, community partners, local organizations, and public officials to Plantation on November 7. As we open the doors to this new location, we look forward to building new relationships, strengthening existing partnerships, and continuing our work, one community at a time.
